Hayter', wood frame rectangular, 9¾ x 7.7/8 in. (248 x 197 in.); two young sisters, seated half length in white dresses: one with coral armlet at her shoulder, her dark hair with white bows; the younger girl, leaning on her sister's shoulder, blond hair (Noel N. Carter) on paper, rectangular gilt-wood frame 6.7/8 in. (175 mm.) diam.; and a young gentleman, seated facing left in dark grey coat with black stock and beige trousers, holding a walking stick (Robert Richard Scanlon) on card, signed and inscribed 'R.R.
