Landscape, 1855 oil on canvas signed J. Linnell and dated lower left sight: 17 1/2 x 23 1/2 inches. Condition: Frame dimensions: 24 1/4 x 30 1/2 inches. The surface a layer of grime, and the varnish has yellowed a bit. There is mild craquelure in some areas. The canvas was either relined or reinforced in some way, as there is black tape visible around the edges. A UV light inspection shows some in-painting. There are losses to the gilt of the frame, at top.
