‡John Maltby (born 1936) a large sculptural form made for exhibition, slab built painted with graveyard crosses in red enamel, black and white on a sand ground, with blue splashes, painted Maltby signature to back, 56cm. high, 32cm. wide. Provenance produced in a limited edition of two for an exhibition at the New Craftsman Gallery, St Ives, it is believed this example was kept by John Maltby Lantic Gallery, Tiverton Private collection.
