Some Designs of Mr Inigo Jones and Mr Wm. Kent, published by John Vardy, 1744, engraved title designed by Kent (detached, torn to margins and soiled), two engraved leaves of table of plates (first leaf torn to outer blank corners), fifty-two engraved plates (of 53, lacking plate 53), paper to plate 44 skinned to image and plate 52 torn to blank margins, spotting, dust-soiling and some dampstaining, disbound folio Harris 881. The first 17 plates are after designs by Inigo Jones and are primarily chimney pieces and mantles, the remaining plates which are after designs by William Kent and feature designs for candelabra, chandeliers, furniture, as well as a section of Merlin's Cave in the Royal Gardens at Richmond and various architectural elevations. The three final plates (pl.51-53) not called for in the table of plates are all inscribed W. Kent invt. Sold as a collection of plates, not subject to return. (1)
