Als ehemalige Mitarbeiter Louis Comfort Tiffanys gründeten Martin Bach und Thomas Johnson im Jahr 1901 die Quezal Art Glass & Decorating Company in Brooklyn, New York. Ihre Produkte entstanden in Anlehnung und Weiterentwicklung an die irisierenden Favrile-Gläser Tiffanys.

Quezal Art Glass & Decorating Company, New York circa 1910. Colourless glass, iridescent yellow-gold and mother-of-pearl-coloured lustre as well as gilt bronze. Etched in the pontil scar «Quezal». Electrified. Holder restored.

As former employees of Louis Comfort Tiffany Martin Bach and Thomas Johnson founded the Quezal Art Glass & Decorating Company in Brooklyn, New York, in 1901. Their products were based on and developed further from the iridescent favrile glasses of Tiffany.
