Karel Appel (DUTCH, 1921-2006) Kijk, Leef, Speel met Karel Appel the artist's box, 1977, comprising a wooden relief painted in colours, a book, justification, index and the set of seven screenprints in colours, on wove paper, each signed and dated in pencil or white crayon, numbered 128/300 (there were a further 50 boxes hors commerce ), blindstamped screenprinting, the full set as published by Galerie Nova Spectra, Den Haag, 1977, the book Het gezicht van Karel Appel with text by E. Wingen and numerous illustrations and the set of seven loose, contained in the original titled black cloth-covered portfolio, within the original wooden box with cover screenprinted in colours, containing the wooden relief, generally in very good condition. 543 x 543 x 145 mm.
