Kathe Kollwitz (1867-1945) Bewaffnung in einem Gewölbe (Klipstein 95 VII; Knesebeck 96 VIII) etching with drypoint and aquatint in black and brown, 1906, on wove paper, signed in pencil, a good impression of Knesebeck's eighth state (of 10), from the edition of 200, published by Richter, Dresden, 1921, with the engraved printer's address and the date '1921' in the lower corners at left and right, with wide margins, a tiny surface abrasion and some scuffs in the subject, glue stains in the lower sheet corners recto, some minor pinpoint foxing in the margins, a pale discoloration in the upper margin, a few short tears at the lower sheet edge, the corners creased; with Die Carmagnole (K. 49 VIII; Kn. 51 IX), etching with drypoint and aquatint, 1901, an unsigned impression of Knesebeck's ninth (final) state
