Late 18th/19th century Comprising twenty prints: fourteen bijin-ga, five by Eisen including Tatsumi Hakkei and Ukiyo Nijyushiko, a sheet from triptychs by Eishi, five sheets by the Utagawa School including Sadahide, one by Shungyo, one by the Utamaro School, one facsimile print; six yakusha-e, the majority incomplete sheets from triptychs, consisting of one by Kunisada I depicting the actor Iwai Shijyaku, one by Toyokuni depicting Segawa Kikunojyo, one by Sadayoshi, one by the Utagawa School and two memorial portraits of an actor by the Utagawa School, variously published, variously signed, some unsigned. The smallest 29.2cm x 20.2cm (11½in x 8in), the largest 36.7cm x 25cm (14½in x 9 7/8in), all mounted on cardboard. (20).
