A group of items relating to Cassini's creations for Mrs. Kennedy, including: 1) a typed sheet of Cassini stationery with two affixed manuscript sheets reporting Mrs. Kennedy's measurements for both dresses and coats; 2) a display comprising a typed note signed by personal secretary Mary Gallagher dated 2/7/62 reading "Mrs. Kennedy has selected this one" and supplying five fabric samples in shades of blue and yellow, the letter paired with a printed Oleg Cassini order form with the penciled note "Ordered for Mr. Kennedy" and with six stapled fabric samples (this display 14 x 17 3/4 inches and likely created for museum exhibition); 3) a stack of approximately 35 shipping forms accomplished in ink sending items to Mrs. Kennedy at the White House, dated from 1961-63, a few with affixed lists of shipping contents; 4) a January 1961 note from Mary Gallagher to a Cassini executive regarding a missing item; 5) a 1961 note to Cassini from Social Secretary Letitia Baldridge regarding his daughter getting into school; 6) a 1975 telegram from Mrs. Kennedy to Cassini thanking him for a bag and scarf; 7) a 1961 note from Mrs. Joseph Kennedy's secretary regarding a dress; 8) and a January 1964 note on Mrs. Kennedy's mourning stationery signed by Mary Gallagher thanking Cassini for a selection of sunglasses (these noted in the previous lot as ordered on January 17th, 1964).
