In the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and ninety-two; and of the Commonwealth, the first; Acts passed at the first session of the second General Assembly ... at the town of Frankfort, on Monday, the fourth of November, in the year of our Lord, one thousand, seven hundred and ninety three, and in the second year of the Commonwealth; Acts passed at the first session of the third General Assembly ... begun and held at the Capitol, in the town of Frankfort, on Monday the third day of November, in the year of our Lord, one thousand, seven hundred and ninety-four, and in the third year of the Commonwealth; Acts passed at the first session of the fourth General Assembly ... begun and held, at the Capitol in the town of Frankfort, on Monday the second of November, in the year of our Lord, one thousand, seven hundred and ninety-five, and in the fourth year of the Commonwealth. To which is prefixed, an act concerning the erection of the District of Kentucky, into an independent state. And the Constitution of this state. Acts passed at the first session of the fifth General Assembly ... begun and held at the Capitol, in the town of Frankfort, on Monday the seventh of November, in the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and ninety-six, and in the fifth year of the Commonwealth; And Acts passed at the first session of the fifth General Assembly ... held by adjournment at the Capitol, in the town of Frankfort, on Monday the sixth of February, in the year of our Lord, one thousand seven hundred and ninety-seven, and in the sixth year of the Commonwealth. The first five works Lexington [Ky.]: printed by John Bradford, printer to the Commonwealth, [1792-1796]; the remaining two James H. Stewart: [1797]. The first volume bound in cloth, the balance in roan-backed cloth, housed in a modern case. 12 1/4 x 7 1/2 inches (31 x 19 cm); list of collations on request. Largely disbound, the bindings badly deteriorated, several leaves in the group in facsimile or repaired, therefore sold as is. A exceedingly rare run of early Kentucky session laws, among the earliest printings in the State (Kentucky was admitted to the Union in 1792). There are only one or two copies extant of most of these works, according to ESTC, and for the 1797 adjournment session we do not find any citation.
