Kubo Shunman (1757-1820) Kitagawa Utamaro (1754-1806) Torii Kiyonaga (1752-1815) Keisai Eisen (1790-1848) Seven prints, the left sheet of a hexaptych composed of two triptychs entitled Mu Tamagawa (The Six Jewel Rivers), signed Shunman ga and published by Fushimiya Zenroku; the second Teizen Mutamagawa (In the garden, Six Jewel Rivers), two beauties washing cloth in a stream, signed Utamaro hitsu ; the third, signed Utamaro hitsu ; the fourth, Nakamura Tomijuro as a beauty carrying a bundle of wood on her head, signed Kiyonaga ga , the fifth, geese flying before the full moon, signed Keisai ; together with the sixth, harimaze-e with calligraphic panels, horses, and landscape with bridge, signed Shogetsu and Ungetsu and the seventh, a deer and bat, signed Fuminobu hitsu and Chikoku hitsu --the first good impression and color; the others moderate to good impressions, some faded, worn, slightly soiled, worm holes, some with upper corners glued on verso oban tate-e : 38.2 x 25cm., each approx. the first and fourth; hosoban : 30 x 13.5cm. the second; chuban tate-e : 24 x 17cm., each approx. the third and sixth; chuban yoko-e : 17.5 x 23.5cm., the fifth and seventh (7)
