Paris: Techener, 1839, sale 4 February 1840. 8 o (220 x 136 mm). Contemporary blue half calf and marbled boards, spine gilt. Provenance : F. Lachèvre le Vésinet (19th-century bookplate). Sale catalogue of Lacroix's French History collection, described by the collector and bibliographer himself. "Nearly 3/4 of the volumes listed relate to the History of France. The interesting notes give descriptions of little-known works." (G. Brunet, col. 472). The last 50 lots of the sale include auction catalogues. Without the "Table des Auteurs" published subsequently.
