LAFRERI, Antonio (1512-1577), publisher]. Collection of 10 print suites by 8 different artists, engraving and etching, various dates between 1535 and 1562, probably assembled and issued by Lafreri. [Rome: c. 1562]. Large 2 o and half broadsheets (414 x 263mm). (Some upper and lower edges and all bottom right corners frayed, mostly marginal staining.) Contemporary binding of two limp vellum sheets overlapping on spine (somewhat shrunk), Lafreri's original blue-paper wrappers separating the suites, each followed by a half-sheet flyleaf watermarked with a flower in an armorial shield and star surmount (a paper stock that recurs in six suites of this collection). Modern cloth fall-down-back box.
