A large collection of silver rings and pendants. Included is a group of five beautiful silver rings, each with large center stones, and hematite accents. Two rings have orange stones, one has a red stone, one has a green center, and the last one has a lavender/grey stone. Ring sizes range between 5.5 and 9. Stone sizes vary between 15mm x 11mm and 18mm x 11mm. There is also a group of three large sterling silver pendants. One consisting of a 32mm x 24mm pear-shaped labrodorite in a bezel accented by three super blue topaz set in bezels below the main stone, one 34mm x 28mm cushion cut cabochon larimar set in a bezel with a pendant bale and one Ib Bluitgen design featuring a green hardstone bead sandwiched between two 36mm x 30mm hammered panels suspended from a 2" drop. Lastly, there is a Lagos ring from the Caviar Collection in sterling silver with 14 karat yellow gold accents featuring one 7mm x 5mm octagon blue topaz. Size 7. 71.5 silver dwt. Ib Bluitgen trained as a silversmith at the Georg Jensen Silversmithy and was awarded a silver medal, the top honor. He studied at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts, School of Sculpture from 1945 to 1948 and worked in the Georg Jensen Silversmithy design department from 1948 to 1962, becoming head of that department in 1950. His designs were very clean and modern. Bluitgen opened his own studio in 1961 and was one of the founders of the Danish Crafts Council. He was an active member in the group Danish Silversmiths which holds exhibitions of their work throughout the world.
