lot of 55. A fine collection of views including many hunting, Native American, rancher, and homestead photographs from the Alaskan and Canadian region. Included are 29 silver gelatin views, on printing out paper, of Cree Indians, ranchers, hunters, a half-breed guide, group of Tlingit photographs including a coastal village, traditional architecture and carvings including a totem pole in the process of being carved, several photographs of Hudson Bay outposts, an early stage coach, and cabins and tipis, 11 include printed text viewed on lower margin, 3.25" x 5.5" to 4.5" x 5", PLUS a fine boudoir card of an Alaskan family viewed in front of their homestead, to the left an extremely large totem pole, taken by the photographer O.D. Goetze in Fort Wrangler Alaska, PLUS three silver gelatin views of hunters, ranchers, and machine operator's, 5.25" x 6.25", PLUS a collection of 21 silver prints including hunters, ranchers, Native Americans, and children, ranging in size from 3.5" x 4.5" to 5.25" x 6.25". Condition: VG+.
