large liturgical manuscript on paper, title and 354 pp., with 16 ff. blank but for staves, 7 lines, written in black and red, with music on brown 5-line staves, few minor tears repaired, contemporary calf over wooden boards, large brass corner-pieces, central bosses and remains of clasps, rubbed, spine protected with three large leather strips, overlapping ends of spine, attached with brass strips, folio, 470 x 285 mm., [Netherlands], 1754. *** A handsome choirbook produced in a convent in the Catholic Netherlands, in imitation of more ancient manuscripts. The scribes, Augustine Van Der Roer and Françoise Van Damme, both 'religieuse van dit clooster', are named on pp. 303 and 353; the date is found in chronograms in the name of the former, and in a prayer on the last page.
