Late 19th Century French lacquered brass and champlevé enamel mantel clock, Richard & Cie, Paris, having a 6.5cm cellular Roman chapter ring with enamel centre, the two-train movement striking on a bell with oval caduceus stamp of Richard & Cie, the architectural case with spire finials and columns, champlevé panels to front and sides on stepped base and toupie feet, 28cm high, with giltwood base, ebonised plinth and (cracked) glass dome Condition: Dial numerals are faded, movement appears clean and sound but is untested and not guaranteed, minor enamel cracking to lower border of front panel and a little to one corner of one side panel but overall in very good condition, case lacquer is good save for one minor tarnish to one lower corner, glass dome has a vertical crack to one side panel, sold with pendulum and winder - **General condition consistent with age
