Munich: Bremer Press], 1933. Folio (340 x 235 mm). Introduction by William B. Osgood Field. Numerous full page illustrations including 5 hand-colored landscapes. Original linen-backed boards with printed spine label, original board slipcase. Condition : light rubbing to spine label, slipcase with upper panel detached but present and some discolor. the first and only edition, this being number 27 of 155 copies. This indispensible bibliography of the great nonsense poet was printed at one of the greatest German private presses. As is often found, Field's signature as called for on the colophon is lacking. The book gives details of the original editions in Field's personal collection (now at Harvard), as well as copies known from other sources.
