This is an absolutely fabulous Lecoultre 17" cylinder music box in carved walnut Black Forest cabinet playing six tunes. With diamond shaped tune card and airs by Verdi, Bellini, and Rossini. The cabinet has a two-train clock movement activating hourly, the break-fronted lid is fully carved with a hunting scene with two hounds and stag, with conforming case with carved game birds and foliage flanking the clock face. Truly an exceptional music box. showing little signs of wear, a repair to the antlers of the stag, with a wonderful finish. Worthy of any Black Forest of music box collection. Condition: Very Good
