Born on the island of Murano, he started from a young age working at the island’s glass furnaces and factories. During the 1960s Lino started producing his own designs with high technical and aesthetic quality, which earned him significant commercial success. In 1990 Lino became a free practicing glass artist and his unique pieces are collected by some of the most prestigious museums including the Victoria and Albert Museum and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
