(Smith and his brother were famous for the parody work "Rejected Addresses"); Robert Bulwer-Lytton, 1st Earl of Lytton, letter concerning visit to Westminster Abbey, signed Lytton; Mark Lemon, editor of "Punch" and "The Field", letter - signed - together with a mounted photograph of Lemon; Sir John Robert Seeley, letter concerning proof with Tauchnitz; Edward Augustus Freeman, a letter concerning corrections and Tauchnitz.
