Of elongated, rectangular form with shoulders sloping to a cylindrical neck with flat lip and standing on a carved oval footrim, the interior of the bottle very well painted in ink and watercolors with two opposing portraits of Xiang Fei (The Fragrant Consort), one side with a European pastoral scene, depicting Xiang Fei wearing a straw hat, seated on a rock under a willow tree, her staff leaning against her and a basket of flowers by her side, the reverse painted with Xiang Fei in 'court attire', her hands holding a soft cloth bag, an inscription to one side, dated jiaxu qiuri (autumn of 1994), signed Liu Shouben with one real seal.
