LONZANO, Menahem ben Judah (1550-c. 1624). Omer Man (commentary on the Idra Zuta and Sifra di-Tseni'uta from the Zohar). MANUSCRIPT ON PAPER [Central or Eastern Europe, 17th-18th century] 4 o (240 x 180 mm). [8 mostly blank] + 64 + [8 blank] + 37 + 6 leaves. Brown ink. Ashkenazic semi-cursive script. (Some browning of the text area due to ink corrosion, some dampstaining, otherwise good condition.) Modern blind and gold-tooled dark brown morocco, two modern paper flyleaves at back and front (misnumbered 115 on the spine, due to a mix-up with the actual no. 115, containing the same text, during the recent rebinding). CONTENTS: Fols. 1r-64v: Omer Man by Menahem ben Judah Lonzano, with Derushei ha-Melakhim , with minor variations. Title-page of Omer Man on fol. [7]r. Fols. 1r-37v: Derush Eliyahu ve-Elisha by Jacob Zemah. Printed in the book Tsemach Tsadik (Korets 1785, Vinograd, Thesaurus , p. 600, no. 57). PROVENANCE: Daniel Itzig (stamped).
