Lot contain (A) Polish dagger, and (B) Yugoslavian Air Force dagger. (A) Polish dagger with a nickel-plated blade marked with a Polish eagle and an unknown emblem, with light runner and scattered marks. Brass fittings show heavy patina and the wire-wrapped grips retains approximately 50% of its covering over the wooden core. A portepee with moderate wear is attached. Bronze plated steel scabbard with brass fittings show heavy patina, with a chrome Polish eagle attached near the throat. CONDITION: It is unknown as to when this dagger was issued. Blade is near mint and fittings, grip, and scabbard are good. Overall very good. (B) Yugoslavian Air Force dagger with an unmarked nickel-plated blade with light marks throughout and light freckling. Nickel-plated brass fittings 90-95% of their finish, and the wire-wrapped grip retains approximately 70% of it blue leather covering. A worn portepee is attached. Scabbard retains 75-80% of its blue leather covering, and the nickel-plated steel and brass fittings retain apporximately 80% of their finish, with moderate freckling on the throat fitting. A brass flying emblem is attached to the throat fitting. CONDITION: It is unknown as to when this dagger was issued. Dagger is very good to excellent, and the scabbard is very good.
