Lot consists of the following Civil War Era items: (A) Pair of brass binoculars with leather strap. Binoculars are marked "Verdi Fabt Paris" around both of the eyepieces. CONDITION: Fair. Leather components are cracked and chipped. Brass is tarnished. The binoculars are still functional, but the optics are scratched, scuffed, and very difficult to see through. (B) Civil War Era commercially produced leather saddle. Saddle has a leather sheath attached to the left side with a crude knife inside. CONDITION: Poor. Saddle is missing the right fender. The leather is dried and the saddle displays various cracks and tears. (C) A very fine pair of Civil War Era commercially produced cavalry boots. Right boot has a single spin spur attached and is missing one cloth pull on strap and a portion of leather on the back. Boots are 16" tall. Condition: Boots are heavily worn, left boot has two significant holes piercing through the leather. Leather is still somewhat pliable but there is cracking throughout the boots. Soles show heavy wear but are still in good condition. CONDITION: Fair. JD Item Dimensions: 7" x 5" x 2 - 1/2". Name Value Paperwork
