Lot consists of: (A) 1:144 scale Corgi B-29 Superfortress "Enola Gay" The Aviation Archive series, signed by Paul Tibbets. This model is signed by the pilot of the Enola Gay, Paul Tibbets, and is contained in the original sealed unopened box. CONDITION: The model appears to be complete and the signature remains vibrant with no signs of fading. The box exhibits slight wear, especially around the corners and edges. Overall very good. (B) Model replica of the atomic bomb “Little Boy” that was dropped on Hiroshima by the Enola Gay on August 6, 1945. The model is mounted on wood along with a specification plate that is signed by Paul Tibbets. The model is shielded by a plexiglass vitrine and comes in the original cardboard shipping box with foam supports. CONDITION: Signature has slightly faded. Overall excellent. (C) Model replica of the atomic bomb “Little Boy” that was dropped on Hiroshima by the Enola Gay on August 6, 1945. The model is mounted on wood along with a specification plate and souvenir rocks from the Trinity testing site. The bomb is signed by pilot of the Enola Gay, Paul Tibbets, along with navigator and final surviving crew member Theodore "Dutch" Van Kirk.
