(A) CHARL WOOD. 9-3/4" early massive 2-blade folder with the saw blade marked Charl Wood. Section Handle of stag and wood. 1 stag panel has been removed and a home made wooden panel has been put in its place, carved with letters. Blades are solid and have strong snap both in open and closed direction with perfect half stops. Stag panels are in excellent condition. CONDITION: Overall very good. (B) 8" Early hand wrought single-blade folder with no maker's mark. Good spring in both open and closed direction. (C) German made 24-blade sportsman's knife with 3 panels on each side. The center panel is mother of pearl and the side panels are tortoise. Center panel on front side displaying an angel or cupid holding a bow and arrow. Back springs on the knife are in excellent condition, all blades are solid, all blades have good snap in open and closed direction. Only mark is 1.G.D. stamped on the back spring circa mid 19th Century. CONDITION: Fair to good. Some of the blades are very unusual, 1 blade has a moving part. (D) 3-1/2" Hand wrought single blade folding knife. Good Spring in both open and closed direction. (E) Sanitar Knife Co. N.H. CT. PA and L24. Manufactured springless single blade knife.
