Impression size 12.5x9.5 cm (4¾x3¾"). Self Portrait - The Etcher. No. 38/250. 7.3x10 cm (2¾x4"). Four etchings signed by the artist Frank Van Sloun (1879-1938), an American artist who spent many years living, painting and teaching in San Francisco. He particularly admired the soft burr look of Rembrandt etchings, and emulated that style very well in these four works. Lot Amendments Condition: Fine. Not examined outside of frames.
