Beschreibung:

a pair of marked eating utensils carried in the haversack. First is a stamped tin fork and spoon combination of interlocking, slide together construction marked Norman Ely/Phila/Pat'd Feb 4, 1860. In EXC condition with minor mottling and one small hole drilled in each end for mounting. Second is a high quality jackknife-style fork/knife/spoon combination with rosewood handles that slides apart into two separate pieces. Blade marked J.H. Mary, Newark, N.J. with point and edge loss from use/sharpening, still VG+. Condition: One set near EXC, the other VG+.
