A highly rare and unusual 18K gold openface minute repeating triple calendar keyless lever watch with aneroid barometer Signed Leroy & Son, To The Queen, 211 Regent-Street, London, No. 48'029, case stamped with Louis Audemars' trademarks and numbered 12'753, circa 1885 Gilt-finished three quarter plate fully jewelled lever movement, finely engraved balance cock, bimetallic compensation balance, the barometer tank surrounding the movement, its jewelled lever work mounted on the top plate, minute repeating on two hammers onto two gongs, hinged glazed display cuvette, white enamel dial, Roman numerals, outer barometer indications with central blued steel hand, three apertures for date, month and day, subsidiary seconds, circular plain case, revolving ribbed bezel with inner silvered scale for setting the altitude, repeating slide in the band, case stamped LA for Louis Audemars and Brassus, numbered 12733 and with casemaker's initials MF for Meylan Frères, dial signed Le Roy & Son London, movement signed Leroy & Son and numbered 48029 58 mm. diam.
