Partie Navigation et Géographie... Atlas. Paris: au Dépôt Général des Cartes et Plans de la Marine, 1812. Large 2° (560 x 460mm). Mounted on guards throughout. Engraved title, 1p. 'Table des Cartes et Plans', 32 engraved maps, 25 double-page. (Small tears and light soiling to outer blank margin of map numbered 32.) Original red stippled wrappers (backstrip lacking, scuffing and small tears to covers). PROVENANCE: Mr. Freycinet (calligraphic presentation inscription on title 'À Mon Père Hommage d'Amitié et de Respect L[ou]is. Freycinet'). FREYCINET'S PRESENTATION COPY TO HIS FATHER OF HIS GREATEST GEOGRAPHICAL WORK, presumably given in 1812. Ferguson 536.
