Lovis Corinth German, 1858-1925 Portrait of a Man (possibly the artist Hermann Struck Signed and dated Lovis Corinth/1918 (ul); also signed (lr) Oil on board 25 1/4 x 21 inches (84 x 53.3 cm) It has been suggested that the image on the reverse is of a peasant from Appenzell or the Black Forest. Hermann Struck 1876-1942, was an artist from Berlin known primarily for his etchings and other graphic work. Among his students were Max Liebermann and Lovis Corinth C Estate of Harry Oppenheimer
