The partially printed document, bearing the King´s name with attractive large letters, is an appointment by which the King upgrades first Lieutenant of the 9th Regiment "Wrede", Edmund Hofler, to Colonel in the 7th Regiment of infantry "Bohnehausen", stating `..he receives this patent to prove this grace everywhere. Written and carried with Our highest own hand signature and additional printed large war ministry's seal.´ Countersigned by Siegmund Pranckh, Minister of War. Bearing to the front an attractive paper seal affixed. A good bold signature example by Ludwig II. With blank integral leaf.
