Rare flight-qualified temperature meter of the type placed in front of the Commander in the Lunar Module. The Fuel Temperature Meter was located above and to the right of the Lunar Module Commander’s Flight Director Attitude Indicator (FDAI) or “8 ball,” which defined the vehicle’s current flight attitude. This was one of three key meters for the Commander to monitor during the vehicle's engine burns. The other two were engine thrust and fuel/oxidizer pressure located to the immediate left and right of this meter. A GAEC Quality Control Department tag shows the inspection history, dated 11 September 1969. Temperature Meter in a light-weight aluminum case, 4 by 2 by 5 inches.
