Title within a woodcut historiated border, 8 woodcut headpieces, several woodcut initials (title probably supplied from another copy, margins cut close affecting many sidenotes and a few headlines towards the end, occasional minor discolouration and staining). Early 19th-century half calf (very slightly rubbed). Provenance : From the Library of John Jackson (1793-1875) of Academy Place, Warrington (bookplate). FIRST ENGLISH EDITION. STC 17162.
