Mainly of steatite, calcite and other hardstones, including a black domed seal with ridged top notch, the underside engraved with a couchant animal with outstretched wings, 25mm.; a black scaraboid with a hunter holding two spears with a dead animal by his side and a cross on the upper side, 21mm.; a black triangular plaque with pierced top notch, engraved on the underside with a stag looking backwards, 20mm.; a black disc with a deeply engraved rosette on each side and bands around the edge, 24mm.; a black mottled square plaque with ridged top notch, the underside engraved with a tree with groups of four drilled leaves, 32mm.; a red domed seal with spiral engraving, 22mm., notch restored; a cream calcite domed example with tubular top notch, the underside engraved with a figure and two animals, 17mm.; a black domed example engraved with a hand, 15mm.; a thin black triangular plaque with cross-hatching, 28mm.; the other twenty-one of various shapes, stones and with geometric, animal and figurative engravings; and a group of later miscellaneous seals, pendants and intaglios, including three scaraboids, one of marbled red agate 20mm., with later engraving; a small red stone one with a drilled cow, 12mm., Sasanian; and two of glass, the green one with a lion attacking a bull 15mm., the brown one with a striding lion, 11mm., Phoenician; two conoid glass seals, one pale green and carved with a hunter grappling with a lion in each hand, 16mm.; the other blue and carved with an archer, 15mm.; an amethyst oval intaglio with standing draped figure and Sasanian inscription, 20mm.; and two carnelian seals, one a scarab with an amphora engraved on the base, 9mm., the other engraved with a cow, Sasanian, 17mm., some of the remaining items not ancient, (51)
