Mainly Roman Period Including four large cooking pots with carinated bodies, twin loop handles and everted lips, circa 1st-3rd Centuries A.D., 77/8in. (20cm.) maximum diam., the old labels attached stating their provenance as 'a wreck off Knoula - Yugoslavia', some damaged and with sea encrustations; four conical lids with top notch, circa 1st-3rd Centuries A.D., 77/8in. (20cm.) maximum diam., one repaired, some with sea encrustations; four terracotta bowls, each set on a ring base, circa 1st-4th Centuries A.D., 7in. (17.8cm.) maximum diam., one repaired; a Late Roman red glazed dish, with deep ring base, rounded rim and impressed Chi-Rho symbol on the tondo, circa 4th Century A.D., 9¼in. (23.6cm.) diam.; a Corinthian terracotta aryballos, with encircling umber bands and disc rim, circa 6th-5th Century B.C., 23/8in. (6cm.), with old label reading, 'Hellenistic 6th-5th cent B.C.'; a thick buff pot with five small spurs around the shoulder, possibly late Iron Age, 4¼in. (10.8cm.); a South Italian black glazed kantharos, circa 3rd Century B.C., 35/8in.
