Additionally SIGNED by Wally SCHIRRA and Scott CARPENTER. With 30 chapters covering early pre-NASA concepts of manned space flight as well as the beginning of the space race with the Soviet Union to the strides of the United States moving ahead of the Russians with Project Gemini.
