Manufacturer: Rookwood Description: Rare and impressive Rookwood Spanish Galleon, a fully rigged ship sporting three masts with wind powered sails and flags a flying, a William McDonald design. The gallery comprising multiple decks with ornaments and lanterns adorning the windows, multiple crows nests stack the masts and a small figure head is above the rudder. This magnificent vessel is attached onto a pottery base. Measures 23 inches tall by 21 3/4 inches in length and 7 inches in depth from sail tip to sail tip. Weight is 20 pounds. Impressed with the Rookwood logo, the date 1926 and shape number 2849 beneath the base. There have been professional and nonprofessional repairs for a flawless appearance. The masts have been repositioned into place and several of the billowing sails have repair on the tips. The front bow has been broken and reset along with a few other small fixes. An imposing construction achieved by the Rookwood firm. Quite possibly the only Galleon Ship known to exist.
