MANUSCRIPT-MUSIC] Album containing approximately forty-two musical autographs, mostly from the Berlin circle of violinist Joseph Joachim . Mostly Berlin, Leipzig and other locations, circa 1890-1900. Includes signatures with bars of music in manuscript, short notes and postcards, numerous clipped signatures and autographs affixed to album sheets, protected behind thick tissue guards. Original thick card album re-covered in modern linen with a floral motif. Album 6.5 x 9 inches (16.5 x 23.5 cm). Includes Joseph Joachim (ANS), Heinrich Karl Hermann De Ahna, Emanuel Wirth, Andreas Moser, Luigi Chiostri? (one large bar of manuscript music and ANS), Angus Wilhelm, August Riechers, Emile Sauret, Eugen d'Albert, Salomon Jadassohn, Hans von Bülow, Wilhelm Herman Barth? (three signatures reading "H. Barth"), Moritz Moszkowski (one signed bar and one autograph), Karl Klindworth, Xaver Scharwenka?, Moritz Rosenthal, Delano Franz Conrad?, Theodore Martin, Martin Fuss, Joseph Raff, Harry W. Howard, Hans Sitt (ANS and manuscript bar), Felix Weingarten, Josef Rheinberger, Engelbert Humperdinck (with bar), and a few others. A very well preserved album of musical autographs including an assortment of important composers and musicians in the Berlin and Leipzig circles at the turn of the century. C
