MARC CHAGALL Louis Aragon, Celui qui dit les Choses sans Rien dire , Maeght Editeur, Paris, 1976 (C. books 99) the complete set of 25 etchings with aquatint in colors, hors-texte , title page, text in French and justification, on Rives BFK watermark ME, signed in ink by the artist on the justification, the author's copy (named for 'Louis Aragon' on the justification), one of 20 hors-commerce copies reserved for the author and collaborators aside from the edition of 205, with a suite of the 25 etchings on Japon Impérial each signed in pencil and numbered IV/IV , the full sheets, in very good condition, several text pages with annotations and corrections (presumably by Aragon) in different inks, loose (as issued), original paper wrappers and cloth-covered portfolio box with author and artist's names in gilt on the spine. 19 x 15 in. (500 x 395 mm.)
