Signed envelope with Mercury stamp released for Mercury Atlas 6, John Glenn's orbital flight. SIGNED by Scott CARPENTER, Gordon COOPER, John GLENN, Wally SCHIRRA, D. K. SLAYTON, and Alan SHEPARD. The envelope has the 4 cent "U.S. Man in Space, Project Mercury" stamp. The stamp was released on 20 February 1962, the launch date of John Glenn's three-orbit flight. Envelope, 4 by 6.5 inches.
