MICHELE MARIESCHI (1710-1743) AND GIOVANNI BATTISTA BRUSTOLON (1712-1796) Magnificentiores selectioresque Urbis Venetiarum prospectus; Prospectuum Adium, Viarumque insignorum Urbis Venetiarum & Feste dogali the three series originally bound in a contemporary Venetian vellum gilt binding, including: Michele Marieschi , Magnificentiores selectioresque Urbis Venetiarum prospectus the complete set of 21 etchings and the title page with the portrait of the artist by Carlo Orsolini after Angelo Trevisani 1741, on laid paper, watermarks Crossbow and countermark Initials FC, the title page with countermark Initials AV, all early, fine and luminous impressions of the first state (of four), before the plate numbers and before the baroque church facade on Campo S. Rocco (plate 14) was altered, from the first edition, published by the artist, Venice, 1741, the full sheets with very wide margins, in very good condition Giovanni Battista Brustolon after Antonio Canaletto, Michele Marieschi and Giovanni Battista Moretti , Prospectuum Adium, Viarumque insignorum Urbis Venetiarum the complete set of 21 etchings and the title page after Antonio Visentini 1763-78, on laid paper, watermark Three large Crescents (different variants) with countermarks Three Stars or watermark Coat-of-Arms with Initials FO, all early, fine impressions of the first state (of four), before the plate numbers and the address of the publisher Furnaletto, from the first complete edition (the first edition of twelve plates only was published in 1763), the full sheets with wide margins, in very good condition Giovanni Battista Brustolon after Antonio Canaletto , Feste Dogali the complete set of 12 etchings, 1766-1779, on laid paper, watermark Three large Crescents (different variants), Coat-of-Arms with Fleur-de-Lys or Bird over Initials P/GG, all early, fine impressions of the second state (of four), with the plate numbers and the address of the publisher Furnaletto, from the first complete edtion (the first edition of eight plates only was published in 1766), the full sheets, in very good condition The sheets with the usual, unobtrusive vertical drying fold, some very minor staining, foxing and handling marks in places; the binding with a morocco lettering piece on the spine, the spine split on the front, some minor wear to the boards; generally in very good condition.
