Middle Kingdom, 12th Dynasty, circa 1991-1786 B.C. With cartouche-shaped indentation on the surface, the sides sharply bevelled to a small flat rectangular base, 3½in. (8.8cm.) long, some chips along the edge; an Egyptian green schist palette, of rectangular form, the sides cut vertically from the top, then bevelled in towards a flat base, Late Dynastic Period, circa 664-332 B.C., 2¾in. (7cm.) long, some chips along the edge; an 'Egyptian Blue' scarab, of flat oval shape, with eight small attachment holes, Late Dynastic Period, circa 664-332 B.C., 2in. (5cm.) long; a group of Egyptian amulets, including five of lapis-lazuli in the form of a djed pillar and Anubis; six green-glazed amulets and a mottled serpentine bird amulet, all Late Period, circa 664-332 B.C., 21mm. maximum height; four other Egyptian amulets, including a carnelian lion, pierced horizontally between the head and paws; a bright-blue glazed composition amulet of Sekhmet, pierced horizontally along the back of the head; the head of Nefertum and a bright-blue glazed composition five-petalled rosette, all Late Dynastic Period, circa 664-332 B.C., 15/8in., (4.1cm.) maximum height; two terracotta moulds, the larger in the form of Bes, 2¼in. (5.6cm.) high, the smaller in the form of an udjat eye, 15mm., both Late Dynastic Period, circa 664-332 B.C., 15mm. high; strings of Egyptian mummy bead necklaces, composed of polychrome tubular beads, Late Period, after 600 B.C., and two steatite scarabs (a lot)
