In Timore Dei (Haemmerle 49-66) the complete set of eighteen engravings, fine impressions, extremely rare, printing with tone and polishing scratches, two plates with small sections pricked for transfer (?), in very good condition, bound in gilt boards. Plates: 5¾ x 4 1/8 in. (150 x 105 mm.) Sheets: 7¾ x 5½ in. (195 x 140 mm.) Provenance : Acquired from R.M. Light & Co., 1967 Complete sets of these prints extremely rare, Haemmerle records only two complete sets in the V. & A., London and the Musèe d'Art et d'Archèologie, Paris. Exhibited: Fact and Fantasy 48.
