Chamisha Chumshei Torah – Mikra’ot Gedolot, with 32 commentaries. Sections 1-6 [in two volumes]. Warsaw, 1860-1861. Ownership notations and signature Rabbi “Yitzchak son of Rabbi Moshe Meintz” from Frankfurt am Main. Volume 1 contains inscription upon his marriage. Several glosses in his handwriting [majority in pencil], with comments and concepts on verses. Two volumes, varying pagination. 30 cm. Good condition, stains and wear. Bindings with slight damage. * Leaves include handwritten leaves in Hebrew and German, as well as collection of letters sent to Rabbi Yitzchak Meintz, including: Letter postcard [from 1929] of Divrei Torah by Rabbi Menachem Mendel Kirschbaum [Av Beit Din of Frankfurt]; letter of Divrei Torah by Rabbi Eliezer Lipman Printz; letter by Rabbi Ya’akov Posen [Dayan in Frankfurt]. * Attached are three letters sent to Rabbi Moshe Mentz [Meintz]: Two letters from 1834 by Rabbi Ziskind Spier [who refers to Rabbi Moshe in his letter as “my disciple”], and letter from 1796 by Rabbi Wolf Wertheim.
