Lot of 22 photographs, ranging in size from 2.375 x 4 in. to 10 x 13.5 in. Collection contains CDVs, cabinet cards, and other photographic images featuring male and female musicians, composers, and band members. Images of note include a CDV of a piccolo player with long sideburns, credited on verso to Hall, Barrington, MA; a cabinet card of a young violinist identified on recto and verso as Melmotte P. Droun and credited to F.A. Morrill, Malden, MA; two cabinet cards of the same bespectacled, older violinist, captured both playing and tuning his instrument, with studio credit on mount to Carter, Orange, MA; a group of twenty-one uniformed band members posing outside with instruments including drums, tubas, trombones, and clarinets, credited to C.S. Sherman, Windsor, VT; and photograph bearing the embossed studio mark of J.T. Collyer, Springfield, MA, featuring a young woman clad in eighteenth-century costume and posed with a large Lyon & Healy concert harp, ca 1915-1920s. Condition: Condition varies.
