Watts') to Mr Ionides and Miss Ionides, Little Holland House and Sandown House, [n.d.], on various matters including the state of his finances 'I am very short of money', agreeing that he should have concentrated on portrait painting but 'I should not now have been so far advanced towards carrying out my great objects as I am ... I find myself gradually and silently assuming weight and influence', speaking of prices for his portraits 'I intended to ask large prices ... they must pay me for my large pictures that will not sell in these days', together 7 pages, 8vo . Lawrence ALMA TADEMA. Ten autograph letters signed ('L. Alma Tadema') to Mrs [Aglaia] Coronio, 17 and 34 Grove End Road, 17 March 1890 to 29 June 1906, on various matters, mostly thanks for visits and gifts, together 12½ pages, 8vo .
