Beschreibung:

A Trade Causerie (From the Irish Wheelman & Irish Cyclist), 1902-1905, another volume with the same title (From The Scottish Cyclist), 1905-1908, and a third volume entitled 'A Commercial Commentary (from The Cycle and Motor Trades' Review), 1908-1911, each small quarto volume bound in dark blue buckram (corners/extremities rubbed and marked), with gilt lettering to the spine to the first two, but a large part of the spine lacking on the third volume, each volume contains about 500 pages of extracts from the journals mentioned, with letters to the compiler tipped-in to each of the volumes, together with other period extracts pasted in at the rear of The Scottish Cyclist volume, one including a photograph of James Macfarlane, pages browned with age in each volume, but otherwise quite sound, and an altogether fascinating compendium, also included are issues of 'The Boneshaker', 1993/1996, and two large photographs of a cycling picnic and a racing team (HCC) of five riders with their bicycles on a cinder track (a quantity)
