MUSICIANS & COMPOSERS] A calf-bound autograph album, 150 x 185mm., containing an extensive collection of signatures and signed photographs of important musicians and composers collected in the 1920's and 1930's, including cut signatures (some on fragments of concert programmes) and autograph signatures of Arthur Rubinstein, Anton Rubinstein, Solomon, Arthur Schnabel, Egon Petri, Rachmaninoff, Wilhelm Backhaus, Arthur Sullivan, Jacques Thibaud, Adolf Busch, Charles Gounod, Liza Lehmann, J.L. Hatton, Adrian Boult, Marcel Dupré, together with signed photographic reproductions of Issai Dobrowen, Nikolai Malko, Warwick Braithwaite, Bronislaw Huberman, Albert Coates, Constant Lambert and Yehudi Menuhin. Also a number of signed and inscribed photographic postcards including George Szell, John Barbirolli, Talich, Robert Reger and Felix Weingartner, together with autograph musical quotations from Nicholas Medtner, Felix Weingartner, Percy Grainger and others. Autograph postcard, signed by A.M. Henderson, Nicholas Medtner and Marcel Dupré, from Paris, 21 August 1934, to Miss Louie Russ, regarding a visit to St Sulpice to hear Dupré play the organ. Also, various autograph letters and postcards including those from Widor and Charles Hallé.
